Keep your warehouse and accounting data aligned with bi-directional connectivity between InventoryPro and Sage 50 Desktop.
The InventoryPro Sage 50 integration moves data in both directions. Items, vendors, customers, purchase orders, and sales orders export from InventoryPro into Sage 50 with full line-item detail. In the other direction, item cost updates, invoice payment status, and shipping tracking data pull from Sage 50 back into InventoryPro, so both systems stay aligned without manual reconciliation.
When purchase orders are received in the warehouse, the integration closes them in Sage's Purchase Journal. When sales orders ship, the corresponding entries post to Sage's Sales Journal. Your accounting team sees completed transactions without switching applications.
We synchronize the core records that both systems need to stay consistent. Item master data - part numbers, descriptions, costs, categories, and GL account mappings (Sales, Inventory, COGS) - stays matched across platforms. Vendor and customer records carry addresses, contact details, and up to five configurable custom fields per record type. Purchase orders and sales orders transfer with line items, quantities, pricing, and job costing data.
Our team maps your Sage 50 field structure to the corresponding InventoryPro fields during implementation. If your organization uses custom fields or non-standard account mappings, we configure the translation layer so data arrives in the right format on both sides.
As warehouse staff receive purchase orders and ship sales orders, the integration creates the corresponding journal entries in Sage 50. Received POs close to the Purchase Journal. Shipped SOs post to the Sales Journal. Your accounting team sees completed transactions without manual updates from the warehouse floor.
In the other direction, when invoices are paid in Sage 50, the payment status flows back into InventoryPro automatically. Tracking and shipping data can also pull from Sage's sales order notes into your warehouse records, keeping both systems current within your configured sync interval.
Synchronization runs on a schedule that fits your operation. Some organizations sync hourly to keep warehouse and accounting data tightly coupled. Others prefer daily batches that run overnight to minimize system load during business hours. Our team configures the schedule during implementation and adjusts it as your needs change.
Sync logs record every operation - records created, updated, skipped, and any errors encountered - so your IT team has full visibility into the integration's health without needing to check both systems manually.
