Print UPC and Box labels
Follow the instructions below to start
printing UPC and Box labels.
You will need to add two addins to Inventory Pro for Windows. The first addin prints a pick list with barcoded line items that feeds the second label printing addin with the information for the labels. The second addin is the one that prints the labels and, if desired, can be used independently of the pick list addin (the fields can be manually typed in vs line items scanned and fields automatically populated). If you don't want to scan in the pick list - you can just type in the item id and quantity.
If you have not downloaded and installed Inventory Pro for Windows yet, you will need to. Click the download icon to the right.

Inventory Pro integrates Microsoft's standard Office Addin Manager for importing new functionality into the application;
adding custom reports or screens to the standard system. Here are the two required addins for printing UPC and Box labels in Inventory Pro:
-
Barcoded Pick List and UPC/Box Labels
This is a link to a zip file containing the two addins and an ActiveX control for the UPC barcode font. Use add-in (#399) to print a barcoded pick list. This pick list report can then be used with the
UPC & Box Label addin (#400) to automatically populate the fields with the right item-ids and quantities (less chance for user error scanning).
The label sizes associated with addin 400 to print UPC barcodes is (1.5"x1") and box labels (4"x4"). Note, If you want to print both labels, Box and UPC, it is helpful to have two printers with different roll label stock in each printer, otherwise you will need to print out a Box label (4"x4") - then switch the stock to the UPC label size (1.5"x1") and print them out. The addin can print to network printers.
These addins can be used only with Inventory Pro.
Please open this PDF to see/print the rest of the instructions for loading the addins and printing the UPC and Box barcodes in Inventory Pro.
